Recently, at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City, several leading menswear industry CEOs took to the stage and spoke unscripted about what makes them and their companies successful.
In the first of a two-part series, DNR reports on this fascinating event. From Polo/Ralph Lauren’s namesake, Ralph Lauren, to J. Crew’s Mickey Drexler, it’s essentially a transcript of each CEO’s discussion on how they think, adapt, and make decisions. They also go into what it takes to create – or in Drexler’s case, recreate – some of the most iconic companies in the market today.
I typically don’t like to just post a link and say, “hey, check this out…” but in this case, it’s definitely worth taking a few minutes an learning more about how this fascinating industry works.
And yes, I know; it’s another picture of Ralph. I found one of Mickey, but it just wasn’t as good a shot.
