Who We Are
Off the Cuff (OTC) is an award-winning menswear consultancy and online resource. We are dedicated to the principle that classic style and modern life are not only compatible but made for each other.
Chris Hogan founded OTC in 2006 and from the start was dedicated to providing readers with thoughtful, objective, and informative advice on incorporating classic menswear and timeless style into their modern lives. OTC also supports and profiles exceptional brands and craftsman, both here in the United States and around the world.
In 2012, OTC was selected as a top menswear blog by Complex.com. Hogan was voted 2012’s Brooks Brothers’ Dandiest at the Derby. In 2010, OTC was profiled in Professional Blogging For Dummies by Susan Getgood, founder of Blog With Integrity. In a two-page spread, OTC was highlighted as a leading web resource and an example of exceptional social media strategy, brand development and brand management.
Hogan also managed social media and blogger outreach for legendary menswear authority Alan Flusser’s innovative BeSpeak iPhone application.
About our logo: OTC’s suit logo was created just for us by our favorite Canadian artist Samara Shuter, also known as “Sammo.” Based on one of her most iconic images, OTC’s logo expresses the timeless style of classic menswear while also giving a solid nod to living in the modern world. Sammo’s work continues to receive critical acclaim and we are honored to call her a friend.
