Off the Cuff is an award-winning online menswear resource and consultancy. We are dedicated to the principle that classic style and modern life are not only compatible but made for each other.

Founded in 2006 by Chris Hogan, from the start OTC was dedicated to providing readers with thoughtful, objective, and informative advice on incorporating classic menswear and timeless style into their modern lives.  OTC also supports and profiles exceptional brands and craftsman, both here in the United States and around the world.

What We Do
OTC has been recognized on numerous occasions for our influence, breadth of knowledge, and unique ability to compellingly convey a brand’s story. In 2015, we were selected to be the brand ambassador for the luxury outerwear label HonourMark. In 2014, the highly influential site Refinery 29 named OTC one of the seven men’s bloggers ruling the DC, Maryland, Virginia style scene. 2014 also saw us named one of the top 10 men’s style blogs on the web by Real Men Real Style. In 2013, OTC was selected by global lifestyle company ECCO to be a VIP Brand Influencer and Complex.com named OTC a top menswear blog.  Hogan was even voted 2012’s Brooks Brothers’ Dandiest at the Derby.

OTC also managed social media and blogger outreach for legendary menswear authority Alan Flusser’s innovative BeSpeak iPhone application.

About our logo: OTC’s suit logo was created just for us by our favorite artist Samara Shuter. Based on one of her most iconic images – “The Introduction” – OTC’s logo expresses the timeless style of classic menswear while also giving a solid nod to living in the modern world.  Shuter’s work continues to receive critical acclaim and we are honored to call her a friend.
